Who we are.

Extreme Engineered Solutions, Inc. was established in Youngstown Ohio in 2004. EES was founded by Richard Wanchisn and Gerald Taafe to fill the need for engineering and design support for various customers in the metal industries. Since its inception, EES has grown into a full-service design and engineering company offering various services to its customers. In 2008, EES moved to our current location in Hermitage Pennsylvania.

EES has taken on projects in the flat rolled, tube and pipe, and extrusion industries ranging from reverse engineering of existing parts to designing complete machines. EES takes the time to provide a solution that fits both in function as well as price with the needs of the customer in mind. EES works closely with our customers and values the input of the customer to provide them with the best solution to their problem.

EES also utilizes the latest three-dimensional solid modeling software to provide our customers with a "digital prototype" of their parts or machines. This allows all parties to visualize the end product before it is completed. This also allows for the use of other types of analysis software such as finite element analysis as well as dynamic simulation analysis of the machines.

EES also has the capability to use an articulated arm CMM for reverse engineering. This allows the parts being measured to be accurate within less than .001”. This is used in conjunction with the modeling software to produce accurate solid models without any post processing required.
